Zahira Soul is on this planet to inspire positive change and awakening through her music and performances. Her passion and dedication to her music career has brought her to create this proposal to describe her vision. The purpose of this proposal is raise funds for the phases of her Musical Career Launch. Phase one is about the creation and launch of her first CD, while Phase two focuses on hiring the necessary talent to help Zahira become a internationally known professional musician. Zahira Soul’s vision expands to include the development of an epic world music tour that empowers individuals and alleviates suffering along the way. Her commitment to her growth and the fruition of this dream is completely in devotion to serve humanity.

The Zahira SouLove Tour will create a new enterprise in the global community that will serve humanities evolution by offering a highly marketable line of Health-food products, empowering workshops, and a variety of other services to fans wherever she performs.

3.0 ZAHIRA SOUL’S MUSICAL EXPERIENCE

Over the years Zahira has been fully exploring all of the healing aspects of music and uses it as a therapeutic tool in many different ways to help others. Her passionate study of Indian & Arabic music has influenced great diversity in her vocal style. Zahira’s vocals come from deep place within her heart and can be felt clearly by any listener. Her style combines world sounds with the deep roots of the blues.

Zahira facilitates devotional Kirtans and music sharing circles where everyone can join in and express themselves musically. The lyrics sung are in Sanskrit, Arabic or Hindi. In this setting Zahira teaches traditional and original compositions to the circle through call and response chanting. Zahira also has a lot of experience singing African chants and playing simple hand percussion with African Drum ensembles. In Hawaii she sang with a top percussion group called ‘Baraba Jaba’.

Zahira can sit in with just about anyone and improvise on the spot. She effortlessly channels the right vocal harmonies, melodies and words that come to her in the moment. Her biggest passion is improvisation and it shows in her outstanding scatting skills. She also has experience improvising vocals for film soundtracks.

Zahira is a very quick learner and in very short time can learn composed vocal harmonies and melodies for choral/Acapella arrangements, jazz standards, commercials, back-up singing and film-work.

Zahira appears live with full band or smaller ensemble at performing arts & music venues, colleges, music & art festivals, benefit concerts, community centers, dance & yoga centers, youth centers, secondary schools, churches, temples, private parties and gatherings, clubs, cafes, and art galleries.

I am in it for all humanity. I am in it to use my gifts as a tool to help raise the consciousness on this earth. I have surrendered to my highest purpose and intend to see my musical expressions bring joy to others and relieve suffering.

I am extremely determined. I am committed to my own personal development and full healing no matter how long it takes. I am clear of my life’s purpose and here to accomplish it!

I am a blues, jazz, world and soul vocalist. The songs I write come straight from my heart and soul. Music is more than just performance to me, it is an ultimate way to openly share and heal through sound. Music is such an essential element in my life, I sing for the peace. I sing my songs to all living things and beings in our universe. I sing for love, for healing, in prayer and surrender with full devotion and love in my heart.

The sound I create is quite unique. Through my musical studies (Jazz Vocals, College/Independent Music Study, Music Therapy, Live performance) and spiritual practices (North Indian Classical Music, Bhajans, Kirtan, Puja, Sufi Illahis/Zikr, African Chants, Native American Chants, ect.). I have learned and fallen in love with so many universal sounds that have all been evolving inside of me constantly merging into one another forming one united-harmonious sound! This devotional melting-pot is my heartsong that words cannot describe. Just listen, feel and experience for yourself!

Through my harmonies and melodies I intertwine tribal world music with groovin’ gospel, jazz and blues. I channel these songs from a very soulful and passionate place and have nothing to hold back! I write positive lyrics with a spiritual message which promote both personal & universal expansion. I am inspired by all of life and dedicate my music to the empowerment and awakening of all Beings.

Zahira Soul’s Mission is to inspire positive change and awakening. through her music and performances. She is dedicated to becoming a role model for the highest standard of the human being. She is driven to show women that they can be powerful, prosperous and influential without having to degrade themselves. Her long-term goal is to create a worldwide tour with professional musicians and visionaries to create global change and empowerment.
